Manipur Baptist Convention : ウィキペディア英語版 | Manipur Baptist Convention Manipur Baptist Convention (MBC) is an apex body of the Baptist Churches in Manipur, India. At present, it has 29 Associations, over 1330 Churches and approximately 2,00,000 baptized members. It is under the Council of Baptist Churches in Northeast India (CBCNEI).〔(Cbcnei.com )〕 The convention is also a member of Asia Pacific Baptist Federation (APBF) and Baptist World Alliance (BWA).〔(Apbf.info )〕 The General Secretary of the Manipur Baptist Convention is Rev.Dr. Wungnaoting Konghar.〔(Apbf.info )〕 Missionary from the American Baptist Mission arrived in Manipur in 1896. The first converts the missionary had were Tangkhul Nagas. They in turn converted neighboring ethnic tribes to Christianity. In 1903 A.
